Tanjore Painting

KIAN restored a 100-year-old authentic Tanjore painting, an exquisite and intricate art form that originated in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu in the 16th century. This particular piece, renowned for its application of 22-karat gold leaf, was found in a severely deteriorated state. Through meticulous and high-quality restorative techniques, we carefully preserved its original charm and glory. This not only restored the painting’s visual grandeur but has also reinstated its status as a cherished masterpiece, ensuring it remains an invaluable part of cultural heritage.
